Beyond The Shore

The beautiful bride waits decked,

With a coy smile and flushed cheeks.

Afterall tonight she will set sail

High and low on the seas calm.

beneath that serenity a passion simmers

A tumultous churning pulled by currents too strong.

He will crash the shore for he cant resist

Again and again for a timeless time.

The pain of struggle soothed by the balm of redemption

For to sands the mountains one day reduce.

A trail blazed to remember.

Scapes made and pink toes wet,

Joy made and a smile brought.

This sound of rushing like a thundering heart,

Is the beat of earth to remind and point

The ignominity in the lap of time.

She knows and takes pride

The heart had been bestowed but not the lone one,

She is not jealous  for he belongs to all.

When he is so noble who is she to rebuke?

A mere speck in the ocean.
